8 Days of HDR: Day 4 - Light in the Canyon

Final HDR Image.
Title: Light in the Canyon

Location: Lower Antelope Canyon, Arizona

Exposures: 0, +2, -3, -4, -5

Tips: HDR can help you awaken the artist within. Look for unique patters, in nature and in light, when composing your pictures.

Always look up (as I did here), always look back, and always look down, rather than just looking where you are going. You will be surprised at what you see.

If you go to the Slot canyons, make a reservation for a photo tour, rather than just the regular tour. Fewer people, and your guide will point out some good photo ops. Bring a tripod and plan to shoot very wide. The slots can be very, very narrow.

Also, Monument Valley is only a few hours away. And Horseshoe Bend is less than 1/2 hour from the Slots. Plan a weekend in the area. Good fun.

P.S. I'm planning a workshop to this area in 2013. Shoot me an email to get on the info list.
