Inspirational Quotes: Day 2/Part II

All this week here on my blog: I will be posting inspirational quotes - along with my photographs that I feel go with the quotes.

We all need a little inspiration from time to time.
If you have a quote, please share.

I love your twitter feed and blog. Thanks, Rick. You keep me inspired.

We all need a little inspiration and a positive outlook too. I love that share both, with the bonus of stunning images too. Thank you.

Rick, although I don't always agree with everything you do or say, I absolutely appreciate it ALL! You (and Juan) seem to work tirelessly to produce blogposts, apps, podcasts, books, workshops, words-of-wisdom, etc all for the benefit of helping aspiring photographers to be better at their muse. Thank you for that.

Great shots as usual! I purchased your iPhone app awhile ago and found out my daughter has been learning from it recently. Very cool!

Photography is part art and part technical skill. One can not survive without the other. An artist must be inspired to create great works of art. Your motivational quotes speak to that artistry. Keep up the good work and thank-you.

Jealousy is an ugly thing. Clearly whoever did not have the guts to post their name is simply jealous of your accomplishments; and rightfully so.

Enough so to follow your blog posts, lest they would not have been on your page to make a snarky comment.

I'm with Michael, keep up all that you do! The rest of us appreciate it!

If Anon isn't happy with your blog posts he should just look away.
I don't think that's too difficult.

A positive attitude towards life and all that it encompasses is necessary in this instant world. Folks that dwell on the negative miss out on so much of the beauty and amazing things there are in this world! Whether it be through the lens of a camera (my personal choice), the pages of a book, a walk through the woods.....looking for the blessings is where it's at for a pick-me-up!

Wow, we let the cranky guy get us way off subject. Actually, he became the subject. Ignore him everybody and go have fun with your photography.

Hi Rick, I too definitely appreciate all that you do, I read your blog daily and have learned so much!
You ask to share a quote. Actually the Thoreau one you used is a favorite of mine, and here is another by Antoine de Saint Exupery "That which is essential is invisible to the eye."
It is my goal to one day create an image from nature which captures the light in such a way that it is worthy of it!

I love the inspirational quotes. I see the great images, and see fabulous words. One of these bright days, I'll have a go.... LOL

FYI.... Anon is short for Anonymous. It is not a person's name. :-)

Shawn H said...

Hello Rick,

I can't remember who said that or I would have given them the credit.
