Florida Photo Caravan: St. Augustine, 3rd Shoot

HDR Efex Pro Plus Topaz Adjust. Photography by Rick Sammon
Man o man, what a day in St. Augustine ... from horses running on the beach to the Alligator Farm to Old Town.

In Old Town, we focused on HDR, using Photomatix, HDR Efex Pro and Topaz Adjust on our images. What fun!

We had a lot of fun making HDR pictures. See below!

Tomorrow after our sunrise shoot, we are off to Merritt Island. Stay tuned!

Tip: When making HDR images that include people, ask them to hold perfectly still (as we did here).

Your HDR top is good but....
On Halloween this year i shot an HDR in Time Square. (Amazingly enough, no one was wearing a costume) There is no way I could tell all the people to hold still as you suggest here. However, much to my surprise, Nik's HDR Efex Pro completely eliminated the ghosting in the people and the flag blowing in the wind. Even though there was no ghosting, it still allowed for motion blur on one of the taxi cabs. See: http://www.flickr.com/photos/occecid/5134724923/sizes/o/in/set-72157594363155299/
