A Giant in the Medical Community: Dr. John E. Sarno – Healer, Author and Friend

I originally published this last July. I was thinking about Dr. Sarno and thought I publish it again.

Although he may be small in stature, Dr. John E. Sarno is a giant in the medical community. Many years ago, he cured me – without surgery, drugs or exercise – of "incurable" back and neck pain. He has also cured just about everyone I have sent to him.

This photo was taken yesterday in Dr. Sarno's office at the Rusk Institute in NYC after he talked with one of my friends.

If you are hurtin', or know someone who is hurtin', check out the good doctor and his book.

Take good care,
Rick

Love that shirt Rick!! I bet I would have to visit Africa or somewhere as such to get one. I'll check out this book. I have had both hips replaced and have arthritis so I am definately interested. I still climb in the Smokies for those waterfalls, etc. (I can hurt later, I stole that from your "I'll sleep when I'm dead" saying, my favorite)

I remember some time back 60 Minutes (I believe) did a story on him and his approach. It sounded interesting.

Hey Rick. What a timely post. I suffer from horrible neck, shoulder and arm pain. Sometimes it just gets to be too much and I swing into a foul place. Just downloaded the Kindle edition at your suggestion. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks again.

Sounds great. I wonder if it addresses any mental conditions.

Hi Rick

As a member of the Orlando Camera Club I was excited to see that you are scheduled to speak at our club meeting on March 28th.

While checking out your web site I noticed that you were a patient of Dr John Sarno. I suffered with severe spasms and back pain for a number of years. After reading his book about 15 years ago I decided to make an appointment with him at his office in Manhattan. I have been free of back pain for almost all of the 15 years since seeing him.

Just last week I bought Healing Back Pain for a friend who is contemplating surgery. It amazes me how resistant some people are to his approach to treating the pain. I don't think she ever read the book and is still going forward with the surgery.

I think it's great that you have a spot on your site for Dr Sarno along with your very own testimonial.

Looking forward to seeing you in Orlando on the 28th!

Best regards,

George Crudo
