Oops, I Forgot to . . .

There is a problem (technical) with this photograph. I forgot to . . .

Post your answer here. First correct answer wins a copy of my Field Guide. (Sorry, US shipping only.)

Good luck,
Rick
P.S. Actually, I did not forget, I took the picture to illustrate a good photo tip.

My guess is you forgot to try to correct the slight barrel distortion on post.

Use a polarization-filter?

There isn't any composition here. It's just a snapshot.

HAHA, and you forgot your lens hood.

put the lens hood on to reduce the chance of lens flare?

I think you forgot to correct the photo for the "fisheye look"

Hi All

All good comments! My "mistake" was not using a lens hood (actually shading the lens). Sunlight hitting the lens caused lens flare.

Always shade your lens.

Re distortion: you can easily fix in Photosshop with Transform > Distort.

Thanks to all for playing along.

Interesting the way you got a Critique happening without asking for one hehe

Hey Anon...

I actually did not think about that, but you gave me a good idea. Thank you!

At first glance, barrel distortion. Second glance, lens flare. I dont qualify for the book cos I'm outside of the US, but I thought I'd post my response anyway

I believe there is a little lens distortion with bending being seen in the horizontal solid yellow line at the top of the image.
