Follow Up: Do We Only Photograph What We Recognize?

This post is a follow up to yesterday's post (Below.)

What do you see in these two pictures?

Hey, how 'bout you post your answers here (as opposed to twitter and Facebook) so all can see.

Explore the Light,
Rick
P.S. I'm off to the zoo today to photograph the elephants. It's hot here. I'll be wearing sandals on my feet.

The left one looks like the top part of the Nautilus from the 1954 Disney film of Verne's classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
The right one looks like a foot with 6 or 7 toes, kind of the opposite of the Mickey Mouse style.

Yep, feet for sure.

Photo on the right is the end of a foot. The one on the left looks like some sort of construction machine digging. Then again maybe it is the elephant you mentioned!! :-)

photo on screen left: the Titans that Zeus sent to the underworld, all lining up to get back at him.

photo on screen right: my boyfriend's feet - he puts them up on one side of the table while we read the Sunday papers.

and suddenly I feel mushy ;-)

cheers,

Well.. the rock formation on the left is called, Elephant Rock. In the Valley of Fire outside of Vegas.

The foot: my foot covered with sand. Kidding. Photo was taken in the Alabama Hills in CA.

Left one is a bunch of people pushing something heavy, right one is (of course) Paul Bunyan's right foot.

The one on the left looks more like a large spider or construction equipment to me, not sure which. The one on the right is definitely a big foot.

Have fun shooting elephants. At least you're not in Missouri. Remember that humidity?

The left photo looks like the flag raisers over Iwo Jima to me... the right shot is definitely a foot!

I see a big foot on the right image but my imagination draws a blank when I view the one on the left :). These are fun. I hope you have a few more!

This reminds me of my daughter's wedding in Maui. The minister said that at another wedding someone wanted a picture in front of the turtle. The minister did not see the turtle. Then the person pointed it out. It was an island off shore (where else would an island be?). It sure enough looked like a giant turtle.

The left shot looks like a camel leaning back against the rock for a rest.
The right shot reminds me of a family standing closely together to protect their home or whatever is behind them. I can see a man's face in the second little curve from the top, has a pointy nose and a beard.
