Where in the World? Wednesday

Welcome back to Where in the World? Wednesday.

As always, the first person (US only) with the closest guess as to where I am wins something cool.

This week it's Snap Art from Alien Skin – a cool plug-in that turns your snapshots into art shots with a few clicks of your mouse – or taps of your stylus.

Please be as precise/exact/right-on as possible. Again, closeness counts. In other words, if you see what you think might be a correct answer, fine-tune the location.

You need to post your answers here – not on twitter.

Hey, if you don't win, you can get a 10% discount on Snap Art (and all Alien Skin plug-ins) when you use this code upon checkout: RSA0901.

Good luck to everyone. But no pros, please.

Best,
Rick
P.S. For more plug-in fun, see PluginExperience. Are you experienced?

Looks like the aquarium restaurant in Disney.

Gosh this one is hard. You're wearing a tshirt and shorts, so it must be a warm climate. You're also at some sort of under-water lounge/restaurant. The water is very green so there's probably lots of algae which makes me wonder if it's salt water or fresh water. If I could only see the front of that binder a little bit better.

I'm stumped.

Hmmm not sure about the Disney angle, I visited once and can only remember huge glass windows, no portholes, but I could be wrong...

Definitely some form of aquarium though...

Not allowed to win anyway as I'm in the UK :-(

Hi Tony - Sending to UK means a custom form, tracking, etc. Hey, I am giving a workshop in Kuiwait in Nov. Wanna hop down? :-)

I'll see you there as long as you pick up the tab for the air fare - £1331 return with BA. I do not think I can sneek that one past "She who must be obeyed" :-)

OK here goes a wild guess, Australia.

Since no one has said it yet, I'll guess San Diego.

Ian.. you win. It was actually the Jules Undersea Lodge in Key Largo, FL. It's cool sleeping under water.

Send you address to me: ricksammon@me.com

P.S. Thanks for taking the time to give a detailed guess. It is an underwater lodge/restaurant of sorts.
